Will Simulink add native support for the SSP (System Structure & Parametrization) standard?

Hi everyone,
I’m working on tool chains that rely on the SSP (System Structure and Parametrization) standard for system-level co-simulation and model exchange.
At the moment I don’t see any native import/export or authoring support for SSP packages inside Simulink (2025a).
Questions:
  1. Is native SSP support on MathWorks’ product roadmap?
  2. If so, is there an approximate release window or public statement you can share?
  3. In the meantime, are there recommended workflows or third-party tools for bridging SSP content with Simulink models?
My goal is to maintain a single, standards-compliant model description that can be exchanged with partners using different tool chains, so any insight on future Simulink integration (or workarounds) would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

As of now, Simulink (2025a) does not offer native support for the SSP (System Structure and Parametrization) standard. There has been no official public statement or roadmap update from MathWorks indicating that native SSP support is planned in an upcoming release.
