I am trying to install hdl verifier support for amd devices but failing to do so.

Hi @YASH,
I understand that HDL Verifer Support Packages fail to download, with an error mentioning "FTDI JTAG D2XX library. This is due to one of the third party vendors (ftdichip.com) changing their URLs without giving us prior notice. Specifically their URLs used to have "Drivers" in it, and they have changed those URLs to just have "Driver".
  1. Attempt to download the affected Support Package in MATLAB.
  2. Allow the installation to fail.
  3. Navigate to the downloaded support package archive path. For example: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\SupportPackages_R2023b3872511117138092815\archives
  4. Unzip "ftcjtag.instrset_win64_1690931601.zip" and open the file "toolbox\local\instrset\ftcjtag.instrset\win64.xml" in a text editor like Notepad
  5. Note: for R2023a, the .zip file is called "ftcjtag.instrset_win64_1668908639.zip" instead
  6. In the xml file, change the download URL "https://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM%20v2.12.28%20WHQL%20Certified.zip" to "https://www.ftdichip.com/Driver/CDM/CDM%20v2.12.28%20WHQL%20Certified.zip" and save the changes
  7. Delete the original zip file "ftcjtag.instrset_win64_1690931601.zip" and zip the newly updated folder preserving the same name as the original zip file.
  8. Now, in the MATLAB Command Window enter the following commands. You must correct the path in the second command to have the correct username instead of "%username%" and the correct folder name for the "SupportPackages_" folder:
window=matlab.internal.SupportSoftwareInstallerLauncher();
window.launchWindow('INSTALLFROMFOLDER','C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\SupportPackages_R2023b3872511117138092815\archives\','','')
If you don't want to manually modify the above commands, you can try these commands instead:
window=matlab.internal.SupportSoftwareInstallerLauncher();
spkgdir = dir(fullfile(tempdir, sprintf('SupportPackages_%s*', matlabRelease.Release)));
window.launchWindow('INSTALLFROMFOLDER',sprintf('%s\\%s', spkgdir.folder, spkgdir.name),'','')
