Calling Matlab in Batch mode

I have two versions of matlab installed on my machine.I have to call matlab in batch mode. If i call matlab in batch mode the advanced version of matlab gets called up. How do i call the other matlab version in the batch mode?

point directly to the executable of the matlab you want to run instead of the shortcut/alias that you have set up.
