Datenum function and conversion

I am using the Datenum function in my code, and my instructor has asked me to use the data in milliseconds. The result of the Datenum is in days, correct? So, I just need to convert the result to miliseconds (1 day = 86400000 ms), am I right?

Yes, datenum values are in days, and there are 86400000 ms in a day. So your conversion is correct. You might be interested in this related post:
