Change the Marker size and color in the legend of a scatter plot

I have a scatter plot in a for loop, and at each iteration, the shape and the color of the markers change. when I plot the legend, the legend markers are very small and all have the same color. How can I change their size and color in R2015a? there are some topics on this issue but they are all related to R2014b. The properties have changed in R2015a release.
