Modelling the trajectory of a SolidWorks basketball part into a basketball net - Is it possible?

2 次查看(过去 30 天)
Hello,
I was wondering whether it was possible to import solidworks parts into Matlab?
I have a Basketball part, and a basketball hoop part, and I want the ball to follow a particular trajectory to the hoop. The trajectory will be calculated by Matlab using a range of variables (angle & initial velocity).
I'm not sure if I can use 2 different parts in Matlab? And if I can, can I use them in a 3D plot?
If anyone has any other suggestions to tackle this problem, I'd be very happy to hear them!
Many thanks
Stu

Commercial solution: CADLab
But it looks like SimMechanics might come with an importation routine: see http://www.mathworks.com/products/simmechanics/sw2sm_v1.2/swCADt.html
