Error Using Parfor in matlab?

I started using parfor.
I keep getting this error any help ?
Error using parpool (line 94)
Failed to start a parallel pool. (For information in addition to the causing error,
validate the profile 'local' in the Cluster Profile Manager.)

I suggest you contact MathWorks support to resolve this sort of installation/configuration problem.

@sumedha yah i have parallel computing toolbox
@ellis i will look into it

Hi Hesham,
Please validate your cluster profile. You can follow the steps given in the link given below for that:
http://www.mathworks.com/help/distcomp/clusters-and-cluster-profiles.html#brrzq8d-1
If the validation fails, then it is definitely an issue with the installation.
