Since you obviously don't want to write it yourself, there are many off-the-shelf iris recognition systems you can buy . See https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=iris+recognition. Buying one will get you up and running quickly without years of your own development, like they have spent. Getting someone to donate such a system may be tough, but possible. Contact them and ask.

Oh, they don't care about recognizing irises, only about authenticating them. ;-)

I was using "recognition" like in the "face recognition" context where you know you have a face and you just have to recognize/identify the individual who it is. There are a variety of iris authentication system, from some simpler ones that have the individual put their eyes right up to a camera and can grab excellent digital images, to more sophisticated systems like at the University of Kentucky ( http://vis.uky.edu/research/imaging/iris-recognition-system/ ). I've seen this in person. There they first need to find/detect the iris in an image of a person moving/walking through a scene, then perform the recognition/authentication/identification step after that (obviously a much more challenging environment).

For legal reasons, the Mathworks servers cannot be used for discussion of AES or any other non-trivial encryption.
The "best" algorithm for iris authentication has not been written yet.
