SPM 8 Errors: "failed model estimation" and "reference to nonexistent field vbeta"

When trying to run models I keep getting this error message for specific participants using certain conditions.
Running 'fMRI model specification'

This should be investigated with the SPM people as it is an issue with their code.
It appears that your mask does not select any voxels. see https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A2=spm;9797955f.0906
