Multiple thresholds in Otsu method

I got error after installing additional toolbox of Matlab Computer Vision. "Invalid byte 1 of 1-byte UTF-8 sequence. Could not parse the file: c:\program files (x86)\matlab\r2012a student\toolbox\vision\vision\ja\info.xml"
Please help me solve the problem. Thank you for your help and guidance.

multishresh (part of the image processing toolbox) also provides a neat implementation of multi otsu's method.
