How can I remove texture from the result of segmentation?

Hello,

After a segmentation of an image, in the result there is the texture of the object but what I need is only the general shape of the object. Is there any algorithm or a method to do it ?

First use imfill then use active contour.

No, I did not have the desired result. imfill does not fill the texture.
