SampleImage = uint8( rand(128,128) * 255 );
%animate the image
%set up for animation
image(SampleImage);
cmap = colormap();
%and do the colormap animation
for K = 1 : 50
colormap(cmap);
cmap = circshift(cmap, 1, 1);
pause(0.5);
end
