How to train a file(.mat) using SVM

hi guys,
i am try to do human action recognition using matlab, i have already extracted the HOG feature and saved it as .mat format. i have also downloaded the libsvm and installed it. i am new to this technique, and would like to know how to train the extracted feature. would really appreaciate if someone can tell me the step to achieve it. Thanks in advance.
