Can I open scripts in the same window as the command window?

I have MATLAB R2015a and was wondering if there was a way to open the scripts and/or functions window within the main application without it opening a second window specifically for the script/function. I just want to reduce some of the clutter and simplify the work without going between pages. Thank you.

You can "dock" the code editor window into the rest of the MATLAB development environment. Look for the little downward pointing triangle in the title bar of your floating/disconnected/separate code editor window. Click it and tell it to dock the window.
