Greek Symbol lambda using fprintf

Hi everyone, i am using \lambda for the greek symbol lambda inside the fprintf function but it is not working for me. Any help guys ?

That’s going to be difficult, since ‘λΛ’ are Unicode characters. There are two functions that could help: unicode2native and its inverse (linked to at the end of that page). It may not be possible with fprintf, though.
