Splitting a large vectors into a matrix

I have a vector with 1000 elements that I would like to split into a 20x50 matrix. Here's my code so far.
z= sym(1:1000);
e=(exp(z))
matofe=double(e);
finalmat=sym(matofe)
Any suggestions?
