Appending multiple Netcdf files

I've got nearly 70 files named (global-analysis-forecast-phys-001-002_1442324951540, .........002_xxxxxxxxxxxxx,,,). I want to merge them into a single file using ncks ----> ncks -A file1.nc file2.nc. how to make the process faster, appending all of them.
