Parallel computing toolbox and multiple cpu's
显示 更早的评论
Sorry if this is a repeated question- I got an error posting it before.
I am aware that release 2014a removed the restriction of 12 workers in PCT. What happens if your desktop has two sockets? Will PCT use all cores in both cpu's? Or is it restricted to one socket?

The placement of the worker processes is entirely determined by your operating system. So, in practice, PCT local workers will automatically use all cores.
