How to create Dynamic Plot Labels

Hello,

I have 18 data sets against time to plot. I would like to have text which describes what each one is at the end of the line outside the plot window. This needs to be dynamic, so when zooming in the label for each plot it still to the right of each line, just outside the plot area. Also when zoomed, only the ones visible on the current zoom area have their labels visible.

Is there a way to do this? I wondered about legends, however they are in a box distant from the plot lines.
