How to convert cdf epoch to date and time?

I have a column of data which is in cdf epoch format. It contains date and time stamps Is there a simple way for me to convert and extract the date and time from the cdfepoch object ( data_import(:,1) ) and replace them into column 1? I am trying to plot data over time, cant seem to do this easily.

Sorry to revive an old topic, but I came here looking for an answer and didn't find it, as it has been left unanswered. I think I've solved the issue though.
I believe that todatenum function solves the problem nicely.
