The error occurs due to a set of permissions not being able to validate properly in order to install SSHPASS. It is recommended to install SSHPASS prior to installing the Support Package if you are getting this error.

If this does work, you may need to modify the permissions on your computer using the following directions:
1) Reboot the Mac in recovery mode (CMD + R during boot)
2) Execute the following command in the terminal app:
csrutil disable; reboot
3) Reboot and retry the installation of the support package which should be successfully.
NOTE: A new version of the support package has been published to the web which should resolve the issue, so there is not a need for a workaround.
