Switch for On/Off AC Load

Hi,

I have designed a model of a stand-alone PV system, and I'm having a hard time figuring something out. The only connected load I have on the AC side is a fridge, which I modeled as a an inductande in series with a resistance (through power measures that allow me to have power factor, reactive and active power and so on). My problem is that since the fridge's compressor isn't always on, I want to have some sort of switch that connects and disconnects the load in known time intervals. I don't know if this is simple or not.
