Generating MATLAB executable with version number

I would like to use MATLAB 2013b to generate a standalone executable that has version and file information (which can be seen by right clicking on the executable and examining its properties).

I stamp all my executables with my version number. One way is to just set up the 'Name' property of your main figure with a string that lists your app's name and file version. You could also put it in a text box or logo/splash image when it starts up.
