Simulink Stepper motor models differences

Hello,
I see two different models in simulink libraries to model a stepper motor:
and
At first sight, I thought that the one into electrical library was more appropriate to model electrical characteristics whereas the other one would be more suitable to exercise motor dynamics. However, according to example http://es.mathworks.com/help/physmod/elec/examples/controlled-stepper-motor.html it seems that the electrical model it is also useful to perform system-level models.
Could you please explain the differences between the two stepper models and its foreseen application domain?
Thank you very much. Joan

The two blocks offer equivalent functionality but are implemented in two different technologies, Simscape and Specialized Power Systems. The Stepper Motor from the Simscape technology can be easily used to perform multi-domain simulation, i.e., electric, thermal, mechanical domains. I hope this helps.
