How would one create a new array name inherited from a string?

I have several sample data arrays with systematic names (e.g. 'Control_MP_1', 'Control_MP_2', 'Control_MP_3', 'Control_MP_avg') and I am writing a script where I can just input the array name and it finds my peaks, RMS, and PeakRMS values, but I want to write these into their own individual arrays/variables with the same original name but to add _RMS or _pks, etc. to the end of them so that I end up with 'Control_MP_1_RMS' or something of the like. Thank you!
