Patch command overtaking all subplots

Hi all. We are working on a visualisation problem. We are given a set of vertices and faces for a hollow tree like object, which we must view from inside. The inside locations come from a sensor. We want to display it as a 3 window view- 3D cross section as viewed from above and moving and 2 2D projections. We are using patch for the 3D cross section and plot for 2D projections. But as soon as we try to visualise the projections start rotating and and moving in all directions and we can't figure out why Please help Thank you
