How are the R & X values calculated in the Parallel RLC Load Block?

1 次查看(过去 30 天)
Hello, I'm using a Parallel RLC Load block in my model & need to back calculate to find the R, X & load angle values, such that the user can enter the same through the GUI. It says the Active & Reactive Powers are proportional to the square of the voltage, but I do not get correct answers for R & X values using (V^2/P) & (V^2/Q) respectively. Could anyone please help me out in this regard by explaining how the block converts the Resistance & Inductance values to the Powers???
Thank You...

The Code, I tried solving it:
-
Voltage = str2num(get(handles.sys_volt, 'String'));
Impedance = str2num(get(handles.imp, 'String'));
Theta = str2num(get(handles.angle, 'String'));
It = Voltage/Impedance;
Ir = sqrt((It^2)/(1+(tan(Theta*pi/180)^2)));
Il = Ir*tan(Theta*pi/180);
ActivePower = Voltage*Ir;
InductivePower = Voltage*Il;
