The supporting document says eig(A,B) uses Cholesky decomposition if A is Hermitian and B is Hermitian and positive definite, otherwise it will use the QR decomposition even if 'chol' is specified in the call. Is there a way to tell which algorithm it actually used besides manually testing if A and B satisfy these conditions?
