I have a very basic understanding of MATLAB and am quite frankly am at a loss where to begin. On paper, I begin by finding the force components f_1 and f_2 which are composed as --> f_1= integral of N_l*b(x)dx. l=1,2

Hey Geoff, I believe the inputs should be f_1 and f_2 with the outputs being N_e, yeah?

Start with the search of basic integration and then its simple variable manipulation. thats it
