Selecting multiple lines from a plot.

I am plotting a substructure that results in about 30 separate lines. I would like to be able to use the plot to select outliers in the data set. I don't want to delete these outliers, I just want to be able to select them on the plot and have an output of their position in the substructure so I can exclude them from calculations later. Is there a way I can select a line or multiple lines from a plot and have an output that gives me their position in the substructure?
