Hi,
I am new to Matlab. I would like to classify the image based on its color, pattern and texture. If it possible to create a training set and classify the entire image based on the training set. Please help me on this.

See my demos in my File Exchange: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/?term=authorid%3A31862 There I classify using color and area. If you need texture, you might try stdfilt() in the Image Processing Toolbox, then threshold, etc. like in my BlobsDemo to get textures of a certain strength.
