Use the "Check for access" button on this page on the MathWorks website to determine if your school provides access to MathWorks products through a campus-wide license. If it does, you can have free (to you; paid for by your school) access.

Note that these are free programs that can act as remote interfaces to MATLAB, but you must have a MATLAB license in order to be able to use them. There is no free version of MATLAB, and never has been. There are some other programs that are similar to MATLAB, including Octave and SciLab.

I dont know the answer personally as Ive never used Matlab Mobile, but there is a webpage here , and documentation here . Best of luck with it!

Right. But those are not actually "free": the college pays for it, and the college might charge for it in the form of "lab fees" or higher tuition.
