Imodwt reconstruct level not working

Hi! I am trying to decompose and reconstruct a signal with modwt and imodwt but I am getting an error in the reconstruct.

y = sin(1:100);

d = modwt(y,'db8',3); level = size(d,1) -1; %3;

So it does not matter if i choose 3 or size - 1 as it says in matlabs help

yrec = imodwt(d,'db8',level);

Error using imodwt (line 143) The requested reconstruction level is greater than the level of the wavelet transform.
