disable close button of Simulink model window

Is it possible to disable close button of simulink model window. Something similar to load_system,open_system

I believe this is not possible, but lets see what others think. I am however curious, what you like to achieve or avoid? Maybe there are other ways.
If a user closes a model on error, what is the impact in your case beside the need to open it again?

thank you Andreas..
model is opened by a matlab gui for editing using open_system function.
we want model to be closed only from the gui using close command.user shall not close the model by using model close button. gui is for change management, and tacking.
