Saving all variables with save EXCEPT just a few variables

I have a workspace that I want to save all variables except a few that are named basically with the same prefix. So ideally, I'd like to save everything except a few. For example, save everything except `not_me*`, `not_me_either*`.
Since writing individual errors is a lot and a annoying I wanted a short way to do this.
The only way I thought of doing this so far was with maybe a regex (since it gets in regex's) but I ahve not been successful in forming one yet.
