in control it use the word state of system in addition to input and output what does mean of sate of system

  • for example consider a cooling system.
  • The cooling system takes temperature as input(i.e. x=temperature)
  • The output of the system is cool air(i.e.y=cool air)
  • The major thing here is the cool air comes out only when the cooling machine is on state
  • Depends on the input state of the machine can be either "ON" or "OFF " state
  • here "ON" and "OFF " are known as state(u) of the system
