How to differentiate between low pitch and high frequencies using matlab. Your advises are highly appreciated.

low pitch and high pitch are relative terms so you have to define them in the context of your application. You can use the discrete Fourier transform, fft(), or a spectral estimation technique from the Signal Processing Toolbox to analyze the signal by frequency.
