Hi Diego, this is a little late but the functions and blocks that build, interact with, and link virtual reality worlds via VRML or X3D will be removed in a future release.
Instead, starting in R2024a, Simulink 3D Animation will contain a suite of basic scenes, actors and sensors that will allow you to build 3D simulations using an interface to the Unreal Engine from Epic Games. For anyone looking into this question, Part 1 and Part 2 of this webinar covers how to simulate a robot with a controller in a 3D virtual environment.
