"Copy Figure" doesn't work in Matlab 2016a with OSX.

I have a figure produced using the surf() function. I edited the font size of axis labels in Property Editor and tried to use the "Copy Figure" option under Edit. Now Matlab is frozen and my processor is at 400%.
Is this is bug or is my computer broken?
I'm on OS X 10.11
