Selecting values without using randperm

I have a code
A=F_mid;
size(A);
[r10 c10]=size(A)
p = randperm(size(A,1));
out = A(p(1:(r10-7)),:);
cut_points=sort(out);
in that randperm function should not be used,please help,because every if i run my code time my output keeps changing,

try this is
A=F_mid;
[r10 c10]=size(A)
out = A(fix(linspace(1,r10,r10-7)),:);
