What is the best way to publish MATLAB software?

Hey everybody.
At first for my own enjoyment, I developed a cool program in MATLAB using GUIDE to do some musical hearing exercises (it throws me random chords and I have to tell which they are). I though it might be cool to share this software with people and maybe even make money but I know that in principle, my MATLAB license is for research and personal use only. Especially the MATLAB compiler isn't available for students.
If I were to try and share my software with others, what would be the best way? I am really not that good with anything else but MATLAB so learning a whole new language is not an option. Some of these questions might be a little obvious but I am really not that well versed in legal issues.
  • Is it legal to sell/share software compiled on someone elses license? (I don't expect it to)
  • Is it perhaps the cheapest to start a go-fund-me campaign and buy the whole thing? Or maybe it is cheaper to hire some Indians to translate my code to Java or whatever?
  • Are there other alternatives I am simply not aware of?
I hope some of you might be able to help me!
Thanks in advance!

If you want to earn money from your MATLAB program then you need a commercial license. If you want to generate executables from your MATLAB program and make money from the executables then you need the commercial license for MATLAB Coder or MATLAB Compiler.
It is unlikely you would make a profit from this, as the commercial license for MATLAB is about $US2500 and the MATLAB Compiler is about $US6500, so you would have to do about $US9000 of sales before you earned anything, and you would have to do so outside of the context of Apple Store or Google Play .
