function spmak not found

Hello,
I am using matlab 2016, I have a function where I need to call spmak which is normally part of the matlab functions library.
When I call the function, matlab tells me if doesn't exist.
If I look for it in the documentation using F1, I can find the function but if I type help spmak in my command windows, i get "spmak not found."
Thanks for any advice !

spmak is part of the Curvefitting Toolbox. You might perhaps not have that installed, or you might perhaps not have that licensed.
