Can I create FEM model (model) from MRI scan?

Dear all,

I have this mri scan:

I would like to choose only one part, for example lungs and create FEM model of lungs with EIDORS. Is it possible? Thank you for your answers.

It shall be possible provided the boundary conditions are given proper.

PS: I have experience in FEM modelling of structures but not in the present field.

I have seen the link for EIDORS, I guess you will get good help in that link rather then here.

Thank you for your answer. I´ve already seen EIDORS, but there are FEM models created by CT scan not MRI scan.
