Query block Simulink cannot change parameters

Hello,
I have been trying a couple of days now to use the Query Block on my simulink model but I cannot change its parameters such us, in the Hardware Configuration tab the "Baudrate" or in the Query Tab the "ASCII format string" and the "Query command".
I use an FTDI RS232 and I have configured the right ports and Baudrate from Device Manager.
Has anyone experienced something like that before?
