increase gridline distances in meshplot

Hello, I've created a simple meshplot using mesh(A) with A being a 350x390 rectangular matrix. This matrix contains mostly zeros with values at some indices. The grid lines look like they are one index in distance apart from each other. How can I make this more coarse? I'd like to have grid lines for every 10 indices. Thanks in advance!
