plotting from excel help

Hi. Im fairly new to matlab. I have an excel file that im trying to import data from. I imported the data succesfully but I cant seem to plot them. This is what I tried so far
x = length(fixedacidity);
plot(x,fixedacidity)
but it just shows me and empty plot window. Any help?

Hey, try deleting the x inside the paranthesis in plot command.
plot(fixedacidity)
