question on lbp histogram value

hello everyone, i am doing a face recognition research using lbp as my texture feature extraction. I am confused that why am i getting 1x59 as the histogram value after i implement the lbp functions, instead of 1x256 because of the 0-255 value of the grayscale image. can anyone help me? i will attach the lbp code that im using.
