field strength map for a hexagonal grid

well i have to take cell radius as a paramter and the propogation model to be used is Okumura-Hata. As cell are hexagonal in structure so also have to take that into account. I have actually built up a model but since i have to take the field strength values in dB's and then store them , i am stuck.Do i have to incoporate a field area into my algorithm ? if i do , how do i take out the values from the map ? please help.ty :)
