App designer failed to open

When I try to open up the app designer, a new tab is created labeled app designer as normal, but the app designer window fails to show up. However, individual apps still is functional despite the fact that I cannot create or edit any apps. I have tried restarting MATLAB, restarting the computer, and even re-installed the MATLAB software, but nothing seems to work. Neither did the 'appdesigner' command or the Home>New>appdesigner route in MATLAB work at all. It had worked perfectly for days before it failed, and frankly it is strange that it should fail so suddenly.

Are you using R2016b on OS-X Sierra as was the case in the other thread you posted in?
This does not appear to be a problem for me on my OS-X Sierra system with R2016b

If you currently use PC, try right click on taskbar and select 'Show windows staked'. You'll see the App designer again.

Thanks @Sittiprapa Isarangura, I was trying to solve this problem for days. Did not know it is that easy.
