Since you’re pursuing your bachelor's in Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Engineering and are interested in programming, MATLAB has several areas that are highly relevant to your field.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Simulation: Focus on battery management, motor control, and energy consumption analysis.
Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS): Automate driving tasks like adaptive cruise control, lane change detection, and emergency braking.
Motor Control Systems: Control of DC, BLDC, and induction motors used in electric vehicles
Battery Modeling and SOC Estimation: Predicting battery behavior and estimating state of charge (SOC).
Power Electronics and Inverter Design: Designing converters and inverters for EV applications.
Vehicle Dynamics and Control: Modeling and simulating the dynamics of electric and hybrid vehicles.
Powertrain Modeling: Complete powertrain modeling, including transmission and drivetrain.
These programming areas are the most relevant to your field and will help you build a strong foundation in electric vehicle technology....

Note this question is now over 8 years old, so this is a zombie question as revived by you. @manikandan mavuthu has, by now, likely finished their degree program, and is now (hopefully) gainfully employed, or is almost done with some advanced degree program.

Ok, thanks @John D'Errico, I didn’t notice the year, just focused on the question and tried to answer based on the current scenario.
